Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Ratbag—the moniker of Sophie Brown—is a musician and multimedia artist whose work spans music, animation, sculpture, and visual storytelling. Since emerging in 2021, she has built a dedicated following with her unique fusion of grunge, shoegaze, punk, and pop, alongside horror-inspired aesthetics featuring a fictional cartoon band of monsters. Her 2023 debut EP, why aren't you laughing?, showcased her experimental approach to sound and storytelling, earning critical acclaim and a growing fanbase. This tour marks an exciting chapter in her career, bringing her dynamic and immersive live performance to Australian audiences.
